Welcome to the website for Antonio Fazio’ gallery, Art in Stone. The gallery is set amidst the stunning scenery of the Dingle Peninsula in the southwest of Ireland and it is from the local stone, shaped over the eons by the forces of nature, that Toni carefully picks his materials.

Using both three dimensional sculpture and relief carvings Antonio’ work is strongly influenced by an Irish history of stone working that reaches back over two millennia and he brings a contemporary freshness to the themes, seamlessly integrating the Celtic tradition with his Sicilian background to produce a timeless art of great beauty and power.

For Fazio the subject is already present in the stone and it is his carving that sets it free.
